Frito-Lay, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, has initiated a recall of certain Doritos potato chips due to packaging not properly disclosing common allergens, as stated by federal health authorities.

The recall applies to specific sizes (14.5 oz. and 1 oz.) of Doritos Nacho Cheese Flavored Tortilla Chips. The reason behind the recall is the potential presence of undeclared soy and wheat ingredients, sourced from spicy sweet chili tortilla chips. The recall is voluntary and aims to ensure consumer safety.

No instances of allergic reactions related to the affected products have been reported so far. However, individuals who have allergies or sensitivities to soy or wheat are advised not to consume these products, as their health could be at risk. Frito-Lay encourages those affected to avoid consuming the recalled products and to dispose of them immediately.
