On Tuesday, August 8, a group of approximately 30-40 individuals carried out a brazen robbery at the Yves Saint Laurent store located in the Americana at Brand Mall in Glendale, California. The robbery occurred during daylight hours. According to reports, the robbers wore masks and hooded sweatshirts to hide their identities. They managed to steal an estimated $300,000 worth of YSL merchandise from the store. After the robbery, the individuals fled the scene in around 20 vehicles. It’s reported that one of the robbers was briefly confronted by someone, but was able to escape by quickly getting into a moving getaway vehicle. The incident has drawn significant attention due to its audacity and the substantial value of the stolen items.

Caruso, the company that owns the Americana at Brand Mall in Glendale, California, where the Yves Saint Laurent store was robbed, has announced a reward of $50,000 for information that leads to the identification and apprehension of those responsible for the robbery.
