New photographs of Fetty Wap have surfaced online, showing him in prison. These images indicate that he has gained some healthy weight since he was sentenced to six years in May.

Most known for hits like “Trap Queen,” the New Jersey based rapper was sentenced for federal drug charges stemming from an arrest in 2021. He was reportedly involved in an alleged trafficking ring that operated across the United States. His recent sentencing comes after his lawyers advocated for a minimum sentence of five years, citing financial difficulties arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fetty Wap’s legal troubles began in October 2021 when he was arrested on charges related to drug trafficking. He was accused of obtaining significant quantities of various drugs, including cocaine, heroin, fentanyl, and crack cocaine, over a one-year period and distributing them in different areas. He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to possess and distribute over 500 grams of cocaine in August 2022. This guilty plea led to his sentencing of six years in prison, with the initial estimate of 87 to 108 months reduced due to his plea.
