Fresh off the summer release of his most recent collaborative clothing designs, the exclusive YEEZY GAP collection, Kanye West is continuing to storm through the fashion industry without any remorse for his competition. The Atlanta-born entrepreneur dropped his previous collection in late July 2022 which unknowingly opened the eyes of other brands to seek a new interest in the Yeezy brand.

The popular Gold Digger artist decided to declare a public offer to the well-known design company and fashion label, Adidas, uploaded to his Instagram story this past Friday, September 23, 2022: “Adidas. I am willing to give you 20% of sales, not ownership, as a non-exclusive manufacturing and distribution partner,” Ye wrote. This offer comes just weeks after his claim of rejecting the German clothing company’s offer for a full-blown buyout of USD 1 billion.

West was seemingly targeting the General manager and Senior Vice President of Adidas, Daniel Cherry III, for allegedly moving too quickly with the release of specific products. The 45-year-old fashion designer frustratingly ranted on his Instagram account, “The fact [Adidas] felt they could color my shoes and name them without my approval is really wild. I really care about building something that changes the world and something I can leave to my kids… They tried to buy me out for USD 1 billion. My royalties next year are USD 500 million,” he exclaimed – Adidas has yet to respond to Yeezys counter offer.
