The Burbank Police Department reported that Johnson was taken into custody on the night of February 12 after a physical altercation with a woman in a hotel. Despite the altercation, the woman did not require medical attention. Johnson was released after posting $50,000 bail and is expected to appear in court on March 5. If found guilty of domestic violence charges, he could face significant penalties under California law.
Johnson gained popularity on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram for his anger-fueled reactions while reviewing videos, amassing 30 million followers across all platforms since starting in 2020. One of his videos, where he reviewed a cake being made, gave him 1 million TikTok followers 24 hours after he shared the clip on the platform.
