Game 5 of the 2021 NBA Conference Finals took place in Phoenix, Arizona as the Suns went to war against the Milwaukee Bucks. The series was all tied up at 2-2 heading into this pivotal game until the Bucks finally managed to pick up their first victory on the road since these Finals began. As Milwaukee secured a confident 3-2 lead this past Saturday night, they are now just one win closer to making history as they head into a stressful Game 6.

Both teams stayed neck and neck against each other in their competitive back and forth battle for success. However, Giannas Antetokounmpo refused to leave the arena holding another deficit in the series, therefore he provided a spectacular show including his usual highlight plays as he sent his opponents home with a 123-119 loss. The Buck’s star player finished the game with a total of 32 points, 6 assists, and 9 rebounds during a hard-fought 41 minutes of action.

Not only that, but Giannas was able to come up with the game-deciding play late in the fourth quarter after catching and slamming down a perfect alley-oop play, thrown by Milwaukee’s rotating point/shooting guard, Jrue Holiday. Helping Giannas as much as he can, Holiday ended the game with a double-double that included 27 points and 13 assists, along with shooting an impressive 12 of 20 from the floor. Holiday is also the one who provided his team with the most important steal of the game to completely shock NBA fans everywhere and turn the entire game around in their favor.

Despite the Suns star, Devin Booker, obtaining another impressive 40-point game for himself and his city, it still was just not enough to retrieve their lead back in this Finals series. Game 6 of the NBA Conference Finals will take place in Phoenix as the Milwaukee Bucks confidently head into what could be their last game of the 2021 post-season before finally reaching their dream of being at the top of the league. Unless, of course, Chris Paul and the Suns get back in their groove and play as if they realize what they have on the line.
