So far, the former 2021 NBA Finals Champions currently obtain a confident undefeated record (6-0), defeating top franchises such as the Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, and now the Detroit Pistons.
Taking place on Monday, October 31, 2022, at the Fiserv Forum in the heart of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the Bucks successfully claimed their most recent victory against Detroit in a competitive 110-108 game. Star forward for Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo, put up the most points on the floor for his squad (31), on top of a 2 assist and 7 rebound performance. Bobby Portis also aided in his team’s win this past Monday night by earning himself a double-double that consisted of a necessary 15 points, 2 assists, and 12 rebounds over a hard-fought 28 minutes on the court.
Despite their loss, the Pistons still put on a high-level show while only being down by two points at the conclusion of the fourth quarter. Guards Bojan Bogdanovic and Cade Cunningham combined for a total of 50 points, 9 assists, and 10 rebounds. Looking towards the future, Detroit now gets another opportunity at redemption as they are set to rematch Milwaukee this upcoming Wednesday, November 2, once again, on their home turf.
