In a rather unusual incident, a man in Arnco, Georgia, has been arrested and is facing a felony charge for allegedly stealing an entire porch. According to a report from WAGA-TV, the accused porch thief, identified as Robin Swanger, reportedly ignored multiple “no trespassing” signs when he entered his neighbor’s property and removed a wooden porch. The investigator from the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office described the stolen item as a “full 8′ by 10′ porch.”

Despite the appearance of the property as abandoned, it was indeed not, and the owner had posted the “no trespassing” signs in an effort to deter people from entering.

Complex has reached out to the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office for further information, and this story may be updated. In addition to the felony charge related to the porch theft, Swanger also faces two domestic violence-related charges.
