As of late, Soulja Boy has been taking the social media world by storm with his comedic antics and ability to troll his audience. Almost every week we see a new viral video of Big Draco surfacing, either beginning ‘beef’ with another public figure or just him claiming he invented something, per usual. This time he just so happened to take a direct shot at rapper Bow Wow which seems to be for no apparent reason.
Back in 2018, a video emerged of Bow Wow flying to his destination on what appeared to be an Economy seat purchase. Normally there would be nothing wrong with this. Unless of course prior to the video you claim to your social media that you are flying private when in actuality you are not, which he did.
Soulja decided to bring back this meme by posting it to his Instagram account along with no context, but would soon take to Twitter and let out a statement, “it’s ok Bow Wow, because of me you get to fly private for real versus you don’t gotta cap no more with the challenge and commercial spirit flights.” This would shortly be followed by a load of other tweets blatantly disrespecting Bow Wow and his career. “Bow Wow fell off… Bow Wow hasn’t had a hit since Marco Polo and I gave him that song… I can’t name 5 Bow Wow songs on gang,” just to name a few.
Bow Wow would eventually respond on Twitter to Soulja’s tweet, “Bow Wow never shot anybody. I let the Draco go off.” He claimed, “Soulja is the Ben Simmons of the rap game… I see how much you’re getting paid on the millennium tour, you’ll make more money being my assistant.” The last response we’ve gotten from either artist was on Bow Wow’s end saying, “Don’t forget you sold crack too. Just didn’t want to blemish your street cred;” obviously putting a stain on his credibility.
