This year, the Beverly Hilton Hotel in the heart of Beverly Hills, California successfully hosted the prestigious 12th anniversary of the annual YouTube Streamy Awards. Each year, influencers across the globe gather to celebrate and admire each other’s individual work as having some of the best online content, and being some of the best creators in the world.
Taking home one of the most distinguished awards of the night this past Sunday, December 4, widely-streamed YouTuber Kai Cenat humbly won the 2022 Streamy Award for Streamer of the Year – Cenat’s competitive and high-end competition for this specific award includes HasanAbi, IShowSpeed, xQc, Kyedae, Ludwig, Pokimane, Quackity, tarik, and Valkyrae.
“This is crazy. I feel like I’m at the Grammys right now, man,” Kai emotionally vocalized during his acceptance speech. “Oh my. This is crazy. I want to thank my family [and] my friends, [who] on a day-to-day basis, push me to be the best that I can be… Also, AMP agent Duke, Phantom, Chris [and] Davis, I love y’all and I wish y’all were here.” Cenat concluded his statement, “Last but not least, the mafia. Y’all went crazy! My supporter, I love y’all to death. ‘Streamer of the Year’ is crazy, man. I appreciate y’all. Thank you.”
