Local Texas rapper Markies Deandre Conway, more popularly known as Yella Beezy, was recently busted on 3 separate counts of weapon and sexual assault charges. This arrest checks off the third time that the artist has been picked up by Texas authorities in 2021 alone. Other legal issues that Beezy has been caught up with in the past include possession of five handguns, possession of a controlled substance, unlawfully carrying a weapon, and his most recent sexual assault charges. Beezy is currently sitting behind bars at the Collin County Jail in Texas until the uneasy situation is fully investigated and properly taken care of.
There has not been much information that was released in regards to Beezy’s charges and what the future holds for the accused. He was previously arrested back in August of this year on drug and weapons charges; officials reported that the rapper possessed over 40 grams of an unspecified controlled substance, along with 4 handguns and a rifle. Beezy was later released on a $57,500 bond. With the crimes having already been committed, there is nothing much that the rapper himself and his family can do at this point but wait for the undetermined future.
The 30-year-old artist is currently coming off of the release of his latest track, “I Guess,” that coincidentally dropped the same day he was arrested, Friday, November 5, 2021. The Texas local is mainly known for his popularly played song “That’s On Me,” which is just one out of the 17 songs off of his hit 2017 album, “Lite Work, Vol. 2.” The project contained multiple features from Go Yayo, Haroldluja, Trapboy Freddy, Sir Rec, and G$ Lil Ronnie. However, it seems Beezy has more pressing matters to worry about at this specific time.
