Woman Accused For Pushing Toddler Onto Train Tracks In Oregon

An Oregon woman is being accused of pushing a 3-year-old child off of platform and onto train tracks in an unprovoked attack last week. Breanna Workman, 32, has been charged with first-degree attempted assault, third-degree assault, interfering with public transportation, second-degree disorderly conduct, and recklessly endangering another person, according to a press release from the Multnomah County District Attorney

Footage shows a person, believed to be Workman, get up from a bench and push the toddler in the presence of several passengers as they wait for the train to arrive. The attack occurred Wednesday night at the Gateway Transit Center of the Metropolitan Area Express, in Portland. 

Bystanders wasted no time coming to the child’s rescue after landing face-first on the metal railing and rocks. The victim reportedly sustained red mark on their forehead from the fall, as well as a severe headaches following the fall.
