Both teams stayed neck and neck throughout the entirety of the game, leading to multiple lead changes and a suspenseful ending. The match was secured after Golden State’s star point guard, Steph Curry, hit two clutch 3-pointers late in the fourth quarter, propelling his team into obtaining a solid 2-0 season record. They gained their first victory of the season after a 121-114 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on October 19.
Steph Curry almost doubled his points this game in comparison to the last. The all-star point guard put up a total of 45 points, 1 assist, and 10 rebounds over the span of a hard-fought 38 minutes of action; he shot a steady 16-25 from the floor. Helping out on both ends of the floor and doing everything he could to facilitate his team to victory, Draymond Green also had a night for himself against Paul George and the Clippers.
