Coming off of his most recent studio album, “A Love Letter To You 4,” Trippie Redd has kept his fans on their toes after a two-year waiting period for his next highly anticipated project. Officially releasing this new project to the public as of August 20, 2021, and titling it “Trip At Knight,” the 17-song album contains a bundle of hit features from various multi-platinum selling artists. The Ohio artist waited just one day after the initial drop of the project to release the ‘completed version’, which contains only one extra track featuring one of the biggest artists in the world, Drake.
The deluxe version of the album embodies a total of 12 features including artists such as Sofaygo, Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Durk, Playboi Carti, Juice WRLD, Polo G, Babyface Ray, Sada Baby, Icewear Vezzo, Ski Mask The Slump God, and even XXXTENTACION. Only a few days after the project was released onto all streaming platforms, “Trip At Knight,” is already on a steady track to sell over 73k units within its first week; a controversial loss despite having plenty of big-name featured verses. The project embodied incredible beat production from multiple outlets including Taz Taylor, Pink Grillz, serotonin, Starboy, Peter Jideonwo, Loesoe, and many more to help in propelling this body of work to reach its maximum potential.
Two of the most popular songs off the album, “Betrayal (feat. Drake)” and “Matt Hardy (feat. Juice WRLD),” have made it onto various well-known playlists being RapCaviar on Spotify, as well as RapLife on Apple Music. “Video game music,” is the term some fans are using to describe the 22-year-old rapper’s latest project. Trippie Redd’s “Trip At Knight” can be listened to and downloaded off of all streaming platforms all across the globe.
