The well-known brewing corporation, known as Anheuser-Busch, was formerly close business partners with Travis Scott’s highly sought-after CACTI seltzer. Not even a full year has passed yet and the popular brewing company has already made the executive decision to discontinue the making of all versions of the CACTI spiked seltzer beverages. Despite the drink’s transparent success and the immense sum of profit, respected representatives at Anheuser-Busch claimed that the Houston rapper has more pressing matters on his plate and appears to be focusing the majority of his attention on the prior events that took place at his highly anticipated Astroworld Festival in early November.
“After careful evaluation, we have decided to stop all production and brand development of CACTI Agave Spiked Seltzer. We believe brand fans will understand and respect this decision,” a spokesperson from the multi-million dollar brewing company publicly stated. They went on to elaborate more on the reasoning behind the abrupt decision to expel Travis’ admired alcoholic beverage when they claimed, “Travis was clear in his interview that he is not focused on business right now and his priority is helping his community and fans heal,” they said in reference to the 30-year-old artists first interview since the devastating events. The representative then quickly went on to add, “CACTI asked Anheuser-Busch to inform their wholesalers that there will not be a product at this time.”
A total of 10 individual people were the unfortunate and undeserving victims who were tragically not able to make it out of the chaos that took place on the first and only day of Travis’ Astroworld Festival. “I have a responsibility to figure out what happened here. I have a responsibility to figure out the solution,” Scott remorsefully stated during an interview held at the beginning of the week. He quickly finished his message with, “Hopefully this takes the first step for us as artists, having more insight about what’s going on,” referring to the incident that got him in this position in the first place. Travis Scott is currently looking at approximately 300 separate lawsuits from injured survivors and the families of those who woefully lost a loved one.
