Popular “ASTROWORLD” rapper Travis Scott is known for his extreme love of sports, especially for the teams residing in his home city of Houston, Texas. Usually, when athletics are involved, we see Travis attending mostly NFL and NBA games as his current friend, James Harden, was previously the star guard for the specific NBA team, the Houston Rockets. But now, as things are continuously changing, the Houston artist has recently been spotted at various MLB games, more specifically the Houston Astros. Obviously being his go-to baseball team, Travis took it upon himself to attend the sixth game of the MLB World Series, which consists of the Atlanta Braves going head to head against the Astros.

Officially held this past Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Minute Maid Park, the Braves marched into the den of the Astros. However, it also unexpectedly turned out to be the Braves’ last match before winning their first World Series title since 1995, finally coming out of a 26-year drought. Atlanta brutally defeated Travis’ Astros in an embarrassing 7-0 loss at the conclusion of the ninth inning; they scored three runs in the third, three in the fifth, and one in the seventh inning.

Despite their loss, the energy was magnificent throughout the entirety of the stadium. With the majority of the live crowd being Astros fans, it is easy to come to the conclusion that Travis played a major role in the hype. In fact, some videos have already been posted on the internet that show the artist yelling into the audience, attempting to maintain hope for his city’s representative professional baseball team. Pre-game, the 29-year-old rapper was handed the microphone, in which he took the opportunity to say, “Let’s go Houston, it’s our time. Make some noise! LET’S PLAY BALL!,” easily filling the entire building with the energy and vibe that they desperately needed. Unfortunately, we can only imagine the pain that Travis and his fellow Houston fans are feeling after this upsetting loss.
