Houston rapper, Travis Scott, has mostly been known for his unique sound and confident energy that he brings onto any track he is involved with. Still getting praise for his 2018 number one charting album “ASTROWORLD,” the artist has not seemed to have been active in the music scene since then. Maybe looking to finally shift his attention to another form of work, Travis Scott recently announced the launch of his very own cannabis company, suitably entitled Cactus Farms.
The 29-year-old artist has been a long-term customer of the familiar weed company, Connected Cannabis, with which he has now fully partnered to release the never before seen Cactus Farms strain. According to La Flame himself, “The indica-leaning hybrid has a dense, purple bud structure that smokes with the same experience as sipping a fine wine.” Judging by his description, it is easy to tell a lot of time and effort was put into creating this one of a kind bud and while it is currently being sold throughout all of Arizona and California, it is safe to say this strain will inevitably end up on all shelves across the U.S.; of course only in states where this specific drug has been legalized.
With this move, Travis is joining a bundle of rappers who have transitioned their business focus towards marijuana. More specifically, Jay-Z and his exclusive cannabis company, Monogram which has been skyrocketing in sales as of late; this very possibly could be one of the prime reasons Travis Scott got into the weed industry in the first place. This is just one of the many collaborations that the multi-platinum artist has been involved with over the past couple of years. Some other platforms and companies include McDonald’s, General Mills, Nike, and Playstation along with plenty more and it is safe to say that this will not be the last surprise team-up we see from this icon.
