Commonly known songwriter and performer, Tory Lanez, is back on the charts with the release of his first full project of 2022. Within just the first week of its initial publication, Sorry 4 What has successfully debuted in the No. 1 spot on Apple Music’s Top Hip-Hop Albums list: the highly-anticipated body of work stormed through its other competitors by selling an increasing total of approximately 25k album-equivalent units.
Tory previously released the album to all streaming platforms on Friday, September 30, along with just two featured verses on the individual singles Collection (feat. Yoko Gold) and Role Call (feat. A Boogie Wit da Hoodie). He announced the drop through a post uploaded to his verified Instagram account stating, “MY ALBUM IS OUT… GET Sorry 4 What on ALL PLATFORMS.” The widely listened to Brampton-born rapper recently opened up about possibly facing 24-years in federal prison, as a result of his upcoming trial against fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion, making the current status of Sorry 4 What an even bigger victory for the 30-year-old talent.
