Ever since the brutal murder of Florida rapper Jahseh Dwyane Ricardo Onfroy, better known as XXXTentacion, the music community has not been the same. On June 18, 2012, the 20-year-old SoundCloud artist turned icon had his life tragically taken away due to targeted gun violence. Official police reports claim that the young rapper was shot multiple times, attempting to purchase a new vehicle, while authorities later managed to confirm that his killer did not act alone.
Three separate people have been correctly linked to this specific and high-profile murder case, giving all of his fans, close friends, and family members some sort of justice. More specifically, Robert Allen has recently plead guilty to taking part in the murder of the innocent artist, after initally being charged with first-degree murder with a deadly firearm – his charge was then decreased to one charge of second-degree murder and robbery with a firearm, according to official documents.
Allen’s attorney, Jim Lewis, went on to release a statement on his clients role in the murder: “He was more of an accessory after the fact than really part of the planning. Certainly, he never got out of the car, never had a gun, never shot anybody,” Lewis claimed. The official court date for Robert Allen is set to take place on February 23, 2023.
