The latest suspect in a local Brooklyn shooting, Frank R. James, has officially been arrested and is currently in police custody for last week’s abrupt subway shooting. “My fellow New Yorkers, we got him. We got him,” New York City Mayor Eric Adams stated just one day after the unfortunate attack. Reports claim that James made an anonymous tip to the police department concerning his location, before soon being picked up by officers around the corner from the spot that he had told the department to pursue.

“We were able to shrink his world quickly,” NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell stated on Wednesday. “There was nowhere left for him to run… He will be charged with committing yesterday’s appalling crime in Brooklyn. The devastating incident left 10 people shot on top of 29 receiving severe injuries. Witnesses claim that James was wearing a gas mask during the attack, setting off a single smoke grenade before letting off a total of 33 shots with his handgun.
