Soulja Boy Reacts To Being Left Off Kanye’s “DONDA”

Article

Ever since the release of Kanye West’s highly anticipated album, “DONDA,” Soulja Boy has been all over social media degrading his fellow artist and claiming that he was left off of the project. The Chicago rapper declared to have been contacted by Yeezy in relation to putting together a verse for a track called “Remote Control” that would be featured on the album. Soulja explained how Kanye sent him the beat before he sent it back with his new verse attached; the album dropped just days later with “Remote Control,” but without a Soulja Boy feature to be found.

The 31-year-old artist went on multiple Instagram live streams to talk about and express his anger towards the “DONDA” rapper. Soulja also took his problems to Twitter in which he released multiple statements in the direction of Kanye such as, “Rick n Morty > Donda Album.” Others consisted of more direct statements being, “On God. You a b***h and if you got a problem with what I’m saying I’ll knock you out my n***a… He did the same shit on Robocop when Amber Rose was in the studio years ago. I hate working with this dude. He needs help seriously.” The “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” rapper explained how the main reason for being angry after being left off of “DONDA” was the fact that Yeezy never communicated with him to tell him he was not using the verse; and if he did not like it in the first place to simply express that.

With Kanye’s album selling a total of 327k at the end of its first week it is understandable as to why Soulja is so upset about not knowing that he was going to be left off. He released a statement to the paparazzi that caught him driving his vehicle, in which he explained how he has privately talked to Kanye in regards to the problem but has not leaked any information on whether they are back on the same page. As Soulja Boy continues his social media antics and trolling methods, “DONDA” resumes rising on all charts as it is currently competing with Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy.”
