Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has just been hit with an open investigation regarding the recent situation between himself and American singer, August Alsina. The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office reportedly began the investigation this past Monday, September 19, 2022, after Alsina publicly accused Torey of attacking him in the Chicago area.
On the day of the accusations, the Louisiana singer uploaded a bloody photo to his Instagram account showing a bruised lip as he leaned against an outside wall. The District Attorney’s Office stated the following in relation to the allegations: “We are aware of the allegations that the defendant attacked artist August Alsina and are investigating these claims. The allegations are serious and will be thoroughly examined.”
A video of their brutal interaction recently surfaced on Twitter that showed a clear picture of Tory at the scene of the investigation, accompanied by an audio in which you can hear the 30-year-old artist exclaiming the words, “knocked him out.” This specific case follows Tory’s previous complications with the police, referring to his July 2020 shooting charges implemented by fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion – Tory is currently out on bail after being convicted of shooting her in the foot.
