The Lamborghini Countach was first made known to the general public back in 1974 that stood out in the car industry with its incredible muscle that could shoot up to anywhere between 370 to 499 horsepower. Along with a V12 engine underneath the hood, this specific car became one of the most popular of its time until it was inevitably faded out by the new and improved Diablo back in 1999. The corporation looked to make a comeback eight years later with a ‘special edition’ of the Countach that could reach a peak speed of about 187mph while being able to take off from 0-60 mph in approximately 4.7 seconds; the updated version does not compare.

To start off the new month of August, Lamborghini officially initiated the launch of their newest version of the Countach supercar. The vehicle is a custom hybrid that includes a “6.5l V12 engine that is supported by a 48-volt electric motor.” These parts alone will allow the car to accelerate up to 220mph while having the ability to reach 62mph in just 2.8 seconds; not even to mention the roaring 803 horsepower powered by the V12 and electric motor. There are only a reported 112 makings of the limited edition 2022 Countach LPI 800-4 supercar while embodying not only an immense difference in power but also accompanying an updated exterior along with a more modern interior.

A respected representative over at Lamborghini released a statement acknowledging the updates of their vehicle in which he said, “It upholds the Lamborghini tradition of looking forward, of exploring new design and technology avenues while celebrating the DNA of our brand.” On the market for anywhere between $2.5 million to $3 million for an individual car, the brand will begin deliveries for the vehicle in the beginning stages of 2022 but have yet to release an exact price on that specific way of purchasing currently one of the hottest supers on the market.
