The Milwaukee Bucks previously hosted a one-sided matchup against the Charlotte Hornets this past Monday, February 28, 2022. Milwaukee sent their competitors home with an embarrassing 130-106 loss at the end of the regulation period as they officially advanced themselves to hold the No. 4 spot in the Eastern Conference. As far as the current season goes, the Bucks now embody a new 37-25 record as they look to once again propel themselves to reaching the highly sought after NBA Finals.
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored the most points on the floor for his team this past Monday night by adding his much needed double-double to secure the win; he put up an impressive 26-point, 16-rebound and 6-assist game throughout his hard fought 28 minutes of action. Bobby Portis and Jrue Holiday also managed to combine for a total of 41 points, 16 rebounds and 8 assists in their squads win. With this victory, Milwaukee has now broken a two-game losing streak that was caused by the Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers.
On the other side of the game, star point guard for the Hornets, Lamelo Ball, left it all on the court by aiding his team with a necessary 24 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Kelly Oubre Jr. also made his face known throughout the night by adding his own 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists in his franchise’s victory. As far as the remainder of the season goes, the Charlotte Hornets are currently the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference as they prepare for their next match against the Cleveland Cavaliers this upcoming Wednesday, March 2.
