After years of anticipation, Lil Uzi Vert has finally released their highly-awaited album, Pink Tape. The project was made available to fans at midnight on Friday, arriving approximately two and a half years after its initial teasers. Pink Tape serves as Uzi Vert’s first full-length album since 2020’s Eternal Atake and their first solo project since last year’s Red & White EP.

Initially, the rapper had announced that Pink Tape would be released in October 2021, but it was postponed due to the recordings not meeting Uzi Vert’s standards. This further heightened the anticipation among fans, who had been eagerly awaiting the album’s arrival for years.

On June 26, Uzi Vert made an exciting announcement by revealing the official release date and cover art for his project, along with a trailer directed by Gibson Harazad. The four-minute trailer follows Uzi Vert’s quest to retrieve the pink diamond that he had famously implanted in his forehead in 2021. The visually captivating trailer not only showcases Uzi Vert’s adventurous storyline but also provides fans with a glimpse of the eclectic sound featured on the project, which incorporates a mix of trap beats and pop-punk elements. The combination of the visuals and the preview of the music in the trailer builds anticipation for the release of Pink Tape.

The albumĀ features 26 songs and includes guest appearances by Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, and Don Toliver, amongst others. Stream the full project below.
