At just 18 years old Lil Tecca has taken the music industry by storm ever since the release of his 2019 hit single “Ransom,” which would later be remixed with a featured verse from the posthumous rapper and icon Juice WRLD. Since then he has released his first studio album, “We Love You Tecca,” along with the sequel that dropped earlier this week suitably called “We Love You Tecca 2.” Unlike the first, this project contains various features from multiple platinum-selling artists, whereas Tecca’s debut album withholds just the one Juice WRLD feature on the deluxe.
The album was officially released to the public on Friday, August 27, 2021, including featured verses from Lil Yachty, Nav, Iann Dior, Gunna, Chief Keef, and Trippie Redd. With little to no promo behind the release of his third full project, “We Love You Tecca 2” is projected to sell approximately 35k within its first week. Considering the Queens rapper is still just an 18-year-old kid, anyone in their right mind would believe this to be a hard-fought win; keeping in mind that his first “We Love You Tecca” album reached a platinum ranking without any features. One of the most popular songs of the project so far, “REPEAT IT (feat. Gunna),” has jumped to touch multiple playlists across all streaming platforms such as RapCaviar on Spotify and MostNesessary on Apple Music, giving listeners easier access to find their favorite singles.
With high-ranked features come high-ranked producers and Lil Tecca’s album has them both. This album was carefully put together by various different beat producers such as Taz Taylor, Paryo, Nico Baran, Cxdy, Dynox, Census, Georgie, Bakkwoods, Rio Leyva, Ryder Johnson, Nick Mira, Dt and so many more. Lil Tecca has manifested a wonderful life for himself through his energetic music that he expresses well in his latest project that can be streamed on all platforms today.
