Before Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian and had their four children together she was previously involved with former NBA player Kris Humphries. Kim Married the athlete back in August 2011 before unexpectedly filing for a divorce in 2013 and ending things in what seemed to be the rudest way possible. Without knowing the full details of their short marriage we cannot be quick to pick sides, however, the 40-year-old entrepreneur recently stated that she feels as if she owes Kris a formal apology for the way she handled the situation at the end of their relationship.
Some of the damage that was inflicted occurred on their hit television series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which showed just how short-tempered and immature Kim was acting at the time. “I was so nervous to break up with someone, I handled it totally the wrong way. I fully broke up with him in the worst way, and I could not, I just did not know how to deal, I learned so much from it,” Kim stated to Andy Cohen, the host of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. When asked what her exact ‘breaking point’ was when dealing with her former husband she claimed that she felt “claustrophobic” both physically and mentally. “He had a size like 17 shoes lined up around my whole room and I just freaked the f*** out. I literally got claustrophobic. We were living in a hotel.”
There is still no direct evidence that the female icon has followed through with her claim of apologizing to her first husband, but by the looks of everything she has already publicly stated, the chances are definitely high. Kim Kardashian also made it clear that she still has the utmost respect for her children’s father, Kanye West, even though this situation is entirely separated from theirs. “I respect him so much and you know, that was my friend’s first, first and foremost, for a long time, so I cannot see that going away. I will forever be Kanye’s biggest fan. He is the father of my kids, Kanye will always be my family,” Kim stated.
