Kim Kardashian and Scott Disick have just been struck with a whopping $40 million lawsuit regarding a previous online contest that they had promoted on their social media accounts. The two television personalities previously published a social media contest that would give each contestant a fair chance at winning once-in-a-lifetime prizes such as first-class tickets to Los Angeles, California, an all-expenses paid three-night vacation in Beverly Hills, and $100,000 in cash. However, Scott and Kim are currently being accused of allegedly using the contest as a front to secretly sell signees’ personal information to multiple advertisers.

Official documents report that participants in this specific contest are continuing to be “invaded by hundreds of advertisers, some of which are soliciting the plaintiffs with potentially offensive and unwanted content,” according to the files. Both celebrities’ legal representatives have yet to make a public statement on the matter, but sources close to the Kardashian claim that they are in a good position. Other family members and Hollywood stars who helped promote the alleged contest scam include Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kris Jenner, Christine Quinn, Gretchen Christine Rossi, and Sofia Richie.
