YouTuber Keenan Cahill, who gained notoriety in the early 2010s with his lip syncing videos has passed away at the age of 27. According to TMZ, Cahill had open heart surgery earlier this month coming after facing a series of complications. Keenan was put on life support until he passed away on Thursday afternoon in a Chicago hospital.
Cahill’s cause of death is unknown at the time, but it is known that the social media star was diagnosed with a genetic disorder Martoeaux-Lamy syndrome. He was diagnosed when he was a baby, and the disorder causes organs and tissues to enlarge, become scarred or inflamed.
On Dec. 15, Cahill took to Instagram to tell his followers he was having surgery. “For those who are asking: December 15 is the date of the surgery,” he wrote.
