Everyone is aware of the recent social media antics performed by well-known fashion designer, Kanye West. Ye has continued to exceed his audience’s expectations of what he is capable of doing after publicly claiming various anti-semitic comments about the entire Jewish community. “I’m a bit sleepy tonight but when I wake up I’m going death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” he wrote earlier this month. “The funny thing is I actually can’t be anti-Semitic because Black people are actually Jew also… You guys have toyed with me and tried to blackball anyone who opposed your agenda.”
Ever since, the 45-year-old entrepreneur has been dropped from various partnerships with a handful of high-end businesses including Vogue Magazine, Balenciaga, Adidas, JPMorgan/Chase, Yeezy/Gap, and so many more. Most recently, citizens in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois have taken the initiative to fully cover the Donda rapper’s popular mural. A video surfaced through social media this past Wednesday, October 26, 2022, showing a blotch of black paint over the mural’s previous spot – The painting was created by artist Jason Peterson, taking up 14 feet of space at the intersection of West Lake Street close to North Sangamon Street.
