Kanye West recently participated in an exclusive interview with Jason Lee from Hollywood Unlocked in which the topic of discussion was ‘controlling your own narrative.’ Taking place on Monday, January 24, 2022, and lasting a total of 44 minutes, the 44-year-old DONDA artist was able to give his audience a deeper understanding of his perspective and reasoning behind all of the sudden movements we have seen him make since Kim Kardashian was removed herself from the picture. Yeezy also dove into an explanation of why the paparazzi usually receive the impulsive reactions that they do from him, mainly being because they lack a necessary sense of ‘boundaries’ and ‘privacy.’
At a certain point throughout the interview, the conversation took a turn in which Kanye wound up referring back to a time in October of last year when Kim invited him to her SNL skit; he then watched the mother of his children kiss her current boyfriend, Pete Davidson, directly in front of him upon his arrival. “People intentionally do things to be mean and hurt you,” Ye stated. “How are you going to bring me to SNL and kiss the dude you are dating right in front of me and everyone is like, ‘Oh that’s cool.’” The entrepreneur then went on to specify how he does not want to start any sort of drama between his family or release any information in relation to his ex-wife that is not meant for him to say.
Kim Kardashian did not make her romantic relationship with Pete Davidson public until around mid-November of last year, after Kanye saw them kissing on SNL, leaving the clear conclusion that the two celebrities have been together for longer than what we have been told. However, Yeezy seems to be slowly grasping his new life as he is now in a public relationship with American actress Julia Fox, which seems to have commenced back at the start of 2022. As both personalities continue to go down separate paths in their love lives, the best steps they can take moving forward is being mature about both situations in order to create the optimal environment for their children.
