Most people are well aware of the previous trial that occurred between beloved Pirates of the Caribbean actor Johnny Depp and his ex-wife, Amber Heard. Taking place from April 11, 2022, to June 1 of this year, the 59-year-old television star was found not guilty in a defamation case of domestic abuse allegations throughout his previous marriage with the plaintiff. Now, announced to the public earlier this past week, the long-term Depp vs. Heard situation is being turned into an official big screen film titled Hot Take: The Depp/Heard Trial. A specific release date for the movie has yet to be determined by its creators, however, they have already managed to cast several roles including the two most important characters – Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will formally be played by the talents of Mark Hapka and Megan Davis. The first official trailer for the film debuted this past Wednesday, September 28, 2022, bringing a plethora of anticipation, suspense, and excitement towards the upcoming release.
