COVID-19 is continuing to uncontrollably spread throughout North America. For almost two whole years now we have been living our lives by the stipulations placed upon us by our United States government and current President Joe Biden. Even though a reported safe vaccination has recently been released to qualifying patients, more and more restrictions and proof of the vaccine are being imported into our everyday lives. Earlier today, September 9, 2021, Joe Biden made a public statement to announce the institution of yet another COVID-19 mandate, that this time will most likely ‘affect 100 million Americans.’
“Tonight, I am announcing that the Department of Labor is developing an emergency rule to require all employers with 100 or more employees that together employ over 80 million workers to ensure their workforces are fully vaccinated or show a negative test at least once a week,” President Biden declared to his country. The revealing of this new mandate caught most people off guard as citizens did not seem to expect this much of a fuss after already receiving the vaccination. More specifically, if your line of work falls into this category then you are more than likely going to be required to show proof of the vaccination before entering the building or be forced to take a mandatory Covid test every week.
Biden also made it aware that businesses who try to go around or against this newly begun mandate will undoubtedly face fines up to $14,000 for each individual violation. “The 25% of adults in the U.S. that have not received a COVID-19 shot can do a lot of damage,” he said to commence his speech. President Biden gives the citizens of his country a more detailed explanation of how he and the White House are planning to go about eliminating the virus completely. A simple 6 pillar strategy that includes vaccinating all citizens, developing more protection for unvaccinated people, increasing Covid testing and mask mandates, safely keeping schools open, protecting their profitable comeback, and of course enhanced care for people who have obtained the Covid-19 virus.
