Houston artist Travis Scott is highly known for being one of the most inspirational artists to still be in the rap game. His popular 2018 album, “Astroworld,” is just one of his handful of platinum-certified records; “Astroworld” is now certified triple-platinum and has “three million album-equivalent units throughout the United States,” as said by the Recording Industry Association of America. Travis is now coming off of the drop of his latest project, “JACKBOYS,” which consisted of multiple features from artists such as Rosalia, Lil Baby, Sheck Wes, Quavo, Offset, Young thug, Don Toliver, and even the posthumous Pop Smoke made an appearance on “GATTI” (feat. Pop Smoke).
Besides music, Travis is known for including himself in almost every sporting event within his home city of Houston, Texas. More specifically, basketball is one of the few sports Travis played as a kid, which propelled his initial interest and intense support of the game. With his favorite team obviously being the Houston Rockets, the 30-year-old artist has grown a genuine relationship with former Rockets star James Harden. A relationship is so close that Harden felt it was necessary to recently gift his close friend with his very own customized version of the brand new 2021 Jeep Trackhawk. The two icons stepped off a private jet where the rapper was gifted with the brown-colored vehicle. The name of Travis’ spiked seltzer company, Cacti, is printed on the side of the car along with the saying, “Do not read this and drive,” written around the perimeter of the car’s snow-white rims. Moving onto the interior, the leather seats of the Jeep are fully coated in a red colorway that is enjoyably accompanied by the words “Cactus Jack” stitched into the backings of the two front seats; in honor of Scott’s respected label, Cactus Jack. The artist has been known to have quite the exotic car collection, making it easy to notice why Harden had to go all out on the details of this specific vehicle. Even though Harden no longer represents the Houston area, it seems safe to say that his relationship with Travis will hold up just fine as the two personalities continue to further their friendship.
