Ever since YouTuber Jake Paul came onto the boxing scene and managed to beat former UFC champion, Tyron Woodley, twice, many in the boxing world have urged Jake Paul to consider fighting a “real boxer” with years of actual boxing experience. The 25-year-old has gone at some of the most prolific names in the sport including the likes of; Camelot Alvarez, Floyd Mayweather, and even the former Heavy Weight champion and boxing icon Mike Tyson. A name that has been thrown in the mix that has been met with positive feedback is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The former champion is eager to take on Paul but nothing has been set in stone as of now.
Another formable opponent for Jake Paul may be current Cruiserweight champion Mairis Briedis, who has also expressed his eagerness to square off against the social media star – who even went as far as he getting a tattoo on his leg making fun of Paul. In the past, there has been a queue of fighters lining up to call the YouTuber out, but none with a resume like Briedis. If the two parties came come to an agreement, this may be the challenge we’ve all been waiting for Jake Paul to face.
