Over the years, world-renowned Australian-born actor Hugh Michael Jackman has had many roles in various Hollywood action films. Most notably, the 54-year-old Guinness World Record holder is known for his highly-praised character in the widely-streamed X-Men series and individual Marvel spin-offs. After hearing a handful of rumors questioning if he was taking any physically enhancing supplements in order to correctly play the role of Wolverine, Jackman took the initiative to address the rumors himself during a recent interview with Chris Wallace – an American broadcast journalist – on HBO’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace.

“Over the years people have wondered, did he juice? Did he take steroids,” Wallace asked. The big-screen start simply responded: “No, I love my job and I love Wolverine. I’ve got to be careful of what I say here, but I had been told anecdotally what the side effects are of that. And I was like, ‘I don’t love it that much,’ so no, I just did it the old school way,” he stated honestly to those watching. “And I tell you, I’ve eaten more chickens — I’m so sorry to all the vegans and vegetarians and to the chickens of the world… Literally, the karma is not good for me. If the deity has anything related to chickens, I’m in trouble.”

The wealthy Hollywood icon has appeared in a plethora of big-name movies over his lengthy acting career including X-Men (2000), X2 (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Real Steel (2011), The Wolverine (2013), Prisoners (2013), X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), Logan (2017), The Greatest Showman (2017), Deadpool 2 (2018), and so many more.
