The annual Grammy Awards Ceremony is set to take place at the MGM Garden Arena in the center of Las Vegas, Nevada, and has never been an event to miss. This year, the highly anticipated event will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, and embodies various multi-platinum selling artists that have been set to give a performance at some point throughout the night. Popular artists such as Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Aerosmith, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and even Kanye West have made the official announcement that they will be putting on a live show.
However, it has recently been announced that Yeezy is indefinitely pulled from his planned performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards for reasons related to his previous antics through his social media accounts. “What we are seeing … is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world, unable to get her ex to stop texting her, to stop chasing after her, to stop harassing her. Just think about that for a moment,” host Trevor Noah previously stated on The Daily Show.
Representatives of the event specifically declared that the 44-year-old rapper was dropped due to issues “concerning his online behavior.” Throughout the entirety of this year, West has been flooding his Instagram account with screenshots and posts in relation to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her current romantic partner, Pete Davidson. As of right now, the Donda artist has taken down all of his previous posts from his Instagram feed, giving himself a blank profile concerning the recent boot he received from the Grammy Awards.
