G Herbo officially released his new studio album, “25” on July 2, 2021. Coming off his popular 2020 album “PTSD,” the Chicago rapper is looking to outshine himself with this well-put-together body of work. He produced a total of 19 tracks while gathering an impressive group of multi-platinum artists to make featured appearances on their selected individual singles.
This project has a sum of seven featured artists that each bring their own vibe and unique sound to the mix such as Polo G, Lil Tjay, The Kid LAROI, 21 Savage, Gunna, Yosohn, and even Rowdy Rebel. G Herbo assembled an incredible lineup for this album and in doing so managed to put it all together without missing a beat. Despite having all of his big-name artists to help with his project Herbo created what feels like mostly a solo album; 14 out of the 19 tracks on “25” are all recorded by G Herbo himself without any featured verses. This was a very different approach from last year’s album, “PTSD” which was basically carried by the eleven features he included in the project.
He takes time to shed light on the current life and female problems he is facing while displaying loads of emotion when talking about achieving his 25th year on earth. He reminds his fans that not many people, including his family members, were not fortunate enough to live as long. This is his 10th album release since 2014 in which G Herbo came with a series of different sounds and flows to really secure the stability of his new project. One song can take you down into deep thought while the very next track will get you hyper and ready to take on the world. Within just the second day of the 25-year-old rapper’s album release, it is reportedly already on track to do over 50k in sales throughout just the first week behind barely any promotion.
