Popular California artist G-Eazy was previously arrested on two separate counts of assault back in September of this year. The altercation originally began in the Boom Boom Room of the Standard High Line hotel in New York City, before escalating onto the street in front of the establishment. G-Eazy and specific members from his posse were accused of attacking two middle-aged men and causing “pain and redness” to their faces after the victims were reportedly antagonizing and instigating the 32-year-old rapper.
G-Eazy appeared at a mandatory court hearing this past Monday, November 8, 2021, in which faced a decreased, less serious disorderly conduct charge; he pleaded guilty on all counts. The young artist agreed to a plea deal that was offered by the local authorities in order to compromise on the situation and avoid any unnecessary time behind bars. According to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, the rapper was assigned to a diversion program where he must attend three full sessions with multiple case managers and social workers to ensure that he is staying on track and away from any negative outside influences. The celebrity was also ordered to steer clear of the two victims that he and his crew injured during the seemingly avoidable altercation.
The Oakland native is currently coming off the release of his latest project, “These Things Happen Too,” which embodies a total of 19 songs over the span of a pleasant 1 hour and four minutes. The album includes various featured verses from multiple platinum-selling artists such as Lil Wayne, Marc E. Bassy, YG, Demi Lovato, Devon Baldwin, Ty Dolla $ign and so many more. Now that G-Eazy has finally gotten the result of his long-awaited court hearing, it will be interesting to watch how he goes about releasing any of his future projects.
