In April 2020, Fredo Bang announced the release of his debut studio album called “Most Hated.” The project contained a total of 12 songs while including big-name features from Tee Grizzley, YNW Melly, Lil Baby, CeeFineAss, and Moneybagg Yo. More importantly, his solo song “Trust Issues” would evolve to be one of the most popular tracks off the album.
Due to all the love from his fans and incredible feedback on social media, Fredo chose to release a surprise remix featuring NLE Choppa. He officially dropped the single on all streaming platforms on June 10, 2021, along with the visuals in which both artists make their appearances. Fredo’s verses seem to be the same and the only difference majorly noticeable is when NLE gets on the track. Choppa addresses leaving his ex-girlfriends in the past and having to go on the rest of his life with unmistakable trust issues. He also takes time to shed light on his position in life and how would like not only females, but everyone to treat him.
This track follows Fredo’s most recent drop “Oppanese” which was released in May of this year, just a month before the “Trust Issues Remix” became public. Produced by Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose the single has a piano instrumental throughout the entirety of the song which goes smoothly when the drop of the 808 hits. It is impressive how easily Fredo and Choppa flow over the soothing sound of the beat and how their voices unite to create a beautiful single.
The video for “Trust Issues” (feat. NLE Choppa) was uploaded only to Fredo Bang’s Youtube channel and was released on behalf of Se Lavi Productions. Beginning in what seems to be a church, the two rappers get together to create a simple video while still withholding quick cuts and generating eye-boggling effects. The visuals were created by videographer Jolo on behalf of both artists.
