The trend of NBA players receiving their own signature shoes is growing rapidly, and the next player to join this wave is Phoenix Suns’ guard Devin Booker with Nike. As per the report, the debut of his signature shoe, the Nike D Book 1, is expected to take place in the spring of 2024. Details regarding the design and color options for the shoe have not been revealed yet.
The official name for the new Devin Booker silhouette is the Book 1. Initial images showcase two colorways, black/gold sales samples, and reveal distinctive design elements. The shoe’s upper paneling displays a retro-inspired style reminiscent of Nike Basketball’s offerings from the 1980s, incorporating a mix of materials. The throwback aesthetic extends to the midsole, while the tongue features a prominent “BOOK” logo. Additionally, the heel tab is adorned with the number ’96, signifying Booker’s birth year, adding a personal touch to the design. The shoe will be available this upcoming winter starting at $150.
