Everyone remembers New Jersey rapper Fetty Wap who got his first taste of fame back when he released his popular 2015 album, “Fetty Wap.” This specific project included only two featured verses from Monty and M80, while also withholding his two viral tracks “Trap Queen” and “My Way” (feat. Monty). The 30-year-old rapper has been pretty silent since then, but looks to make an unexpected comeback with the release of his newest studio album titled “The Butterfly Effect.” Fetty officially dropped the project onto all streaming platforms this past Friday, October 22, 2021.
“The Butterfly Effect” is a solo album that features a variety of different vibes, making it an easy choice for almost any situation. The body of work has a total of 17 tracks over the span of an enjoyable 40 minutes and 29 seconds. Some fans have already jumped to their social media accounts to praise the Patterson artist for continuing his hard work in order to bless us with this album. One fan posted on their Twitter account, “The new Fetty Wap album is giving me LIFE. Feel like it’s 2015/2016 again and I’m lovin’ the energy.” He unveiled the release of the album via his Instagram account, in a post in which he simply stated, “It’s up baby… Yoshi is my favorite… What’s yours?”
Even though the artist has been consistent with dropping singles and full projects such as “Trap & B,” “Bruce Wayne” and “Drill Zoo” over the past couple of years, it does not seem to compare to all of the attention that his latest body of work has been receiving. “The Butterfly Effect” also includes various beat production assistance, specifically from Shy Boogs, J West, FrankGotThePack, and ChopSquadd. Some fan favorites off of the project are said to be “Mona Lisa” and “Yoshi,” which can be found and listened to on all platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music today.
