Fetty Wap Arrested at Newark Airport on Oustanding Warrant

Willie Junior Maxwell or more famously known as, Fetty Wap was arrested Friday afternoon at Newark Liberty International Airport. Police say they took Fetty into custody after receiving an alert from his ankle monitor, which showed he had an warrant in connection to a public nuisance charge.

The details of the public nuisance incident have not yet been revealed to the public; however, the spokesperson confirmed Fetty has been released on bail. His arrest took place less than two months after Maxwell was arrested on federal drug charges in New York City, on Citi Field during the Rolling Loud Music Festival. Federal agents are accusing Maxwell in his involvement in a large-scale drug trafficking ring, and charged him with conspiracy to distribute and possess controlled substance, including cocaine, fentanyl, and heroin.
