“Wrist racing machines” is the term popular watchmaker Richard Mille uses to describe his highly advanced timepieces. Since the founding of his luxury watch business back in 1999 the company has been continuing to elevate in mechanics and styles as the years pass and the new generational taste begins to seep into the watch industry. Most people are familiar with Richard’s tight relationship with the car industry which was a prime reason for the collaboration between his company and the iconic car brand that is Ferrari.
Ferrari is currently known to be “one of the strongest in the automotive sector” when discussing long-term stability along with an up to date style throughout the interior and exterior. Both corporations are still in the beginning stages of their partnership, but have promised an extraordinary amount of change to come when presented with their newest collaborative timepiece. A representative from Ferrari shared a statement regarding the upcoming pieces in the making that explained, “It is too early to share anything at the moment, but we are very happy with the collaboration between Ferrari at Maranello and everyone involved at Richard Mille.
However, some news did come to light on how Richard Mille will structure their newest edition watch with the iconic ‘Prancing Horse’ logo that will most definitely be visible on the upcoming wristwear. Director of Marketing at Richard Mille, Tim Malachard, spoke to the public on just exactly how they will be going about exposing the new partnership, in which he expressed how the famous watch company will be the logo for two vehicles on two separate Formula 1 teams in the 2022 racing division. Drivers Mick Schumacher and Fernando Alonso both have personal relationships with the company and will be driving a Scuderia Ferrari and Mclaren. I believe it is safe to say we can expect plenty more partnerships between not only Richard Mille and Ferrari but similar companies are sure to follow after seeing the attraction this move causes for these businesses.
