Mainly known for his popular features in most action movies, such as the Fast and the Furious series and his previous wrestling career in the WWE, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been one of the most highly appreciated personalities in Hollywood scene for over two decades. After accomplishing everything he has throughout his career the 49-year-old entrepreneur recently entered a new line of work with the release of his first featured rap verse on Tech 9ne’s latest project, “ASIN9NE.” He appeared on one track, “Face Off” (feat. Joey Cool, King Iso & Dwayne Johnson), staying on the topic of “drive and power,” fitting for the 6’5 270-pound bodybuilder.

He announced the news through a post uploaded to his Twitter account that read, “Made my historic rap debut (thankfully I did not suck) Huge shout to all the hip hop and music fans for your HYPE reactions.” The newest addition to the music industry released the following statement at a press conference after the release of his debut verse: “I would love to do a repeat with Tech N9ne and Strange Music. If I had the opportunity to collaborate with another artist out there (hip hop artists, blues artists, outlaw country artists) then let’s talk and figure it out.”

Johnson did not forget to shout out his personal tequila brand during the conference when he added, “If I could rap about the right words that feel real and authentic to me, then I’ll be happy to break out that Teremana, take a few big swigs and jump back into the studio.” Dwayne released his signature Teramana tequila back in March 2020 with bottles currently being priced anywhere between $29.99 – $32.99USD. The brand has already sold over 400,000 cases before the end of its first year on the market.
