Drake Bell Pleads Guilty After Claiming Innocence

Mostly known for his 2004 Nickelodeon comedy “Drake & Josh,” Drake Bell is about to see the world in a whole different light. The actor recently pleaded guilty to a 2018 case involving a 15-year-old at his concert. The odd part about this is that when the case was first brought to the ears of the public, the 34-year-old would make his statement pleading that he was innocent on all charges.

All legal actions are being held in Cleveland, Ohio where the situation took place. This matter was first brought to the attention of a police department in Canada where the nameless 15-year-old girl resides.

It was put on record that the incident between her and the actor happened at a nightclub in the heart of Cleveland. The situation allegedly occurred back in December 2017 but would be brought to light by the child just a year later in October 2018. With her hometown located in Canada, she was allegedly just on a trip to visit the states; it was just a ‘coincidence’ that just so happened to be at a Drake Bell concert as well. The two were said to be talking online multiple years before their so-called ‘meet up.’ Bell is also being accused of sending the underage girl “inappropriate material” and is said to have “violated his duty of care and, in doing so, created a risk of harm to the victim” while she was at his concert in Ohio.

As prosecutors are saying he “developed a relationship” with the girl over social media the future does not look good for Bell. His sentencing has been confirmed to be held on July 12 of this year as he is looking at anywhere up to 2 years in prison. It is always a shame to see a beloved icon do something this outrageous and downright sinful.
