The annual Grammy Awards ceremony has always been one to remember. Officially set to take place on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at the Crypto.com Arena in the heart of Los Angeles, California, multiple nominations for various categories were recently made public. However, some celebrities feel that the Recording Academy is acting under a biased influence when choosing their nominees, such as rapper Denzel Curry who vocalized his opinions regarding the Best Rap Album of the year category.
Curry went on to share a short post to his verified Twitter account this past Thursday night (Nov. 16). “This s**t ‘bout money at the end of the day so if that’s what it comes down to, I’m going to get my bread up… But for the Rap Album category, I can literally name you 10 other albums that were actually good — congrats to Kdot and Push, but all that other s**t, come on bruh,” the Florida-born artist stated.
The 2023 Grammy nominees for Best Rap Album include: Come home The Kids Miss You (Jack Harlow), God Did (DJ Khaled), I Never Liked You (Future), It’s Almost Dry (Pusha-T), and Mr. Moral & The Big Steppers (Kendrick Lamar).
