Deion Sanders, a former NFL Hall of Famer and current football coach at the University of Colorado Boulder, is scheduled to undergo surgery on Friday due to the discovery of a blood clot in his groin. The information was shared by Adam “Pacman” Jones, the head coach of the Colorado football team, during a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show. Jones mentioned that he had spoken with Sanders that morning and expressed his concern, using some colorful language. He emphasized the importance of avoiding any drastic measures like amputating Sanders’ genitals, suggesting that it would be preferable to amputate his leg instead. Last week, it was reported by KDVR that Sanders was facing the possibility of having his foot amputated. This complication arose from previous issues with his left foot, stemming from complications following a foot surgery he underwent while coaching at Jackson State University.
Sanders recently shared a video on Instagram where he documented one of his meetings with doctors regarding his left foot, which has been experiencing issues with blood flow. Alongside the video, he expressed his resilient attitude, stating, “As you know I’ve faced some medical challenges with my foot but I’ve never said ‘WHY ME.’ I keep moving forward, progressing… See, you never know what a person may be going through while I sit in your seat of judgment, but you can trust and believe that we are all going through something – just keep the faith and know that if He brought you to it, He will bring you through it. I’m CoachPrime and I’m built for this.” Through his words, Sanders emphasizes his determination to persevere despite the difficulties and encourages others to maintain faith in challenging times.
