DaBaby Puts Assault Charges On DaniLeigh

This past weekend, DaBaby got into an out-of-control situation between himself and singer DaniLeigh that eventually led to her being removed from his property. Specifics on how the altercation commenced have not been publicized, however, DaBaby’s newest baby mother claimed that the altercation began from her simply bringing a Plan B pill to the artist’s house. The former couple wound up speaking on the situation through posts to their social media accounts where they both gave their own sides of the story. In a caption posted to his Instagram account, the Charlotte rapper claimed to have been threatened and physically attacked by his former half, while she stated on her own social media: “This all goes to say that this man is a fucking coward!!! F**k you Baby!!! And damn I really should’ve just listened to the cap ass internet about this man!!!… And I’m sorry to my baby that her father is kicking her out of her home at 3 months.” 

As of this past Monday, November 15, 2021, DaniLeigh was officially charged with simple assault in relation to her self-made actions. Officers of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to a domestic assault call on Sunday, November 14, at approximately 11:59 p.m., that was initiated by Jonathan Kirk (DaBaby). Due to two individual incidents involving the previously separated couple, the CMPD released the following statement in regards to the details of the situation: “On November 15, 2021, at approximately 9:35 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance between Kirk and Curiel at the same location. Upon arrival, Kirk advised that Curiel had assaulted him. As a result of the investigation, Curiel was Served with a Criminal Summons for Simple Assault. Officers also obtained additional information that led them to charge Curiel with a second count of Simple Assault from the incident on November 14.” There have been no updates on any involved.
