R&B singer Chris Brown is one of the top suspects in a recent case held in Los Angeles, California. The Virginia artist is accused of allegedly smacking a woman on the back of the head with such force that her weave detached from her skull. Not being the first time he has been\ investigated for hitting a female, I don’t think anyone forgets the incident that took place the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards where Chris assaulted a defenseless icon, Rhianna.
While Los Angeles officials have yet to find direct evidence leading to Chris Brown being the culprit, the woman remains to point her finger at only one person even though she did not encounter any serious physical injuries. So far, no one has been taken into custody for the acclaimed event, however, a couple of LAPD officers did appear at Chris’ home in Tarzana to discuss the situation.
Facing a small misdemeanor charge, if charged with anything, he would turn to Instagram and make a public statement about the whole situation. With a simple Instagram story post, the rapper addressed the alleged circumstances by saying, “Y’all so damn cap,” along with several laughing emojis. Judging by this statement it is clear Chris is claiming innocence and is paying much mind to the problem at all. The last thing this specific artist needs is another run-in with the police.
Last month, May 2021, COVID-19 rules were still in effect in the state of California stating that large gatherings of any kind are ‘prohibited.’ Without following the guidelines Chris Brown organized a ‘huge’ house party which would eventually get swarmed with multiple LAPD officers. Fortunately, there were no legal actions taken against him and the party was just shut down, but how long can the Grammy award-winning singer keep slipping through the cracks of the law?
